How SQUAB Works:

SQUAB is the marketplace for hiring on-demand gaming partners. We support Valorant with many more games to come. Customers are connected with trainers via the SQUAB.gg Discord bot.  Trainers are verified players of competitive team-based games with good skills and various personalities. Customers will fill out criteria for their order via our Discord bot, specifying region, rank, and hours requested for the order. Once a customer submits their request, the first trainer to respond to the notification gets the chance to fulfill the order.  

Getting Started as a Verified Trainer

Sign-up

To become a verified trainer, you must first apply through our application link. This link can be accessed by either using the command  /apply-sell with our Discord bot. Each applicant will have their own personalized application link.  

Once your application has been processed, you’ll receive a direct message from  SQUAB’s notification bot letting you know if your application has been approved. Only verified trainer will receive orders via SQUAB. 

Handling Orders

If an order is available, the corresponding ranked trainers will be pinged. To claim the  order, reply with /accept as well as the unique number-letter code.

Once the order is taken, you will be sent the customer’s Discord ID. Please go ahead and  contact them as soon as you receive the ID.   

Trainer Guidelines:

Congratulations! You are now a verified trainer. Here are some tips to help you perform better as a seller: 

  1. Keep your Discord notifications on to immediately respond to order requests. It is important to respond to customers quickly. Order requests are fulfilled on a first-come, first-serve basis.  
  1. You need to immediately fulfill the order once you accept it. You cannot cancel an order after accepting it. The Discord chat generated will be how to confirm the order detail with customers. 
  1. Orders on SQUAB are counted in hours. However, the length of each game varies. If your order time is running out, we recommend you finish the game as fast as possible to enhance the customer’s experience. Customers have the option to extend order hours as well.   
  1. Make sure perform the best you can for every order. We want to provide a welcoming experience and be courteous to our customers. 
  1. Cheating, boosting, AFK, feeding, hate speech, and other harassments are strictly banned on SQUAB. A report of such behavior will cause a warning. Further warnings can lead to your account becoming permanently disabled. 

Trainer FAQ

  1. Handling Orders 

How do I accept an order?

The first seller to reply to the SQUAB.gg bot with /accept as well as the unique number-letter code will receive the order. Because of this, we suggest having your notifications on at all times in order to stay updated with order requests. You will know if the order is confirmed when the bot sends you a DM with the buyer's in-game information. 

Can I use a different game account than the one in my application to take orders?

Yes, you are allowed to use a different game account to play with your customers. Make sure to let your customer know so that they are aware. However, boosting is strictly prohibited on SQUAB. If we find out that any trainers are boosting, we will report the information to the game publisher immediately and permanently disable the seller’s account on SQUAB. 

How to resolve issues with an order?

If you have any issues related to the order, input the command /customer-support on our Discord bot in order to fill out a ticket. For urgent game-related issues, it’s best to ping us on our Discord server so we can get back to you as quickly as possible.

Where can I stay up-to-date on orders and other SQUAB information?

All notifications will be handled through Discord. Please keep server notifications on to receive any important updates about our platform, as well as when new orders come in.    

  1. Account Management 

How do I update my profile information?

You can update your payment information, game rank, game preference, and available regions by filling out a ticket via Discord bot with the command /customer-support. If you are updating your game rank, please attach proof to verify your new rank.  

Why was I warned?

Users may receive a warning on their account for violations of our Terms of Service, or any user misconduct reported to our Trust & Safety Team. A warning will not limit account activity, but further warnings can lead to your account becoming permanently disabled, depending upon the severity of the violation. Please file a ticket using /customer-support on our Discord bot if you feel like your account has been wrongfully suspended.  

  1. Payment Information 

How will orders be paid out?

When you apply to be a trainer, you will be able to select a preferred payment method. Currently, our payment methods are Venmo or Paypal.  

When am I expected to receive payments?

Once the order you completed is confirmed, you will immediately receive part of the total price of your order as credit. We pay out the credit to you weekly. The cutoff day is Thursday and the payoff day is Friday. This means that on every Friday, you will receive the total credit you have made from last Thursday to this Thursday. 

  1. Other Common Inquiries  

I was harassed during an order, what can I do?

Harassing goes against our Terms of Service, whether it is the trainer or customer. If you feel like you have been harassed, please report to our support team immediately via Discord.   

My customer has started streaming or recording our session without my permission. How can I resolve this? 

Streaming or recording without permission goes against our Terms of Service. If you feel like this situation has occurred, contact our support team immediately by filling out a ticket using our Discord bot using the command /customer-support with any applicable proof so that we can conduct an investigation. Offences will result in customers being banned from the platform.  

Note: SQUAB staff are unable to remove content from 3rd-party platforms but will attempt to assist in the reporting process if necessary and requested.

  1. Creating Orders 

How do I place an order? 

To place an order, execute the command /request through our Discord bot. The bot will ask you to complete certain required fields: region, rank, and the number of hours you would like for the order. Upon receiving, the bot should reply back as well as send a DM containing a payment link to confirm your order. Orders are confirmed only after payments are successfully processed.  

How do I make payments for my order?

Our Discord bot will send a DM containing a secure checkout link from Stripe.   

How can I connect with my trainer?

Once a trainer accepts your order, your account details will be sent to them so that they can add you via Discord. Their Discord account details will be sent to you as well.  

What should I do if there are issues with my order?

For all issues regarding orders (i.e. trainer not responding, unsatisfactory orders), please employ the command /customer-support using our Discord bot. A link directing you to our online help desk will be sent where you can fill out a ticket regarding your concerns. We’ll do our best to get back to you as soon as possible!
